QuadroISDN Manual II: Administrator's Guide Administrator’s Menus
QuadroISDN; SW Version 4.1.x 48
The ISDN Wizard – DDI (Direct Dialing Inward) page offers
the following components:
The Enable DDI Service checkbox activates the DDI (Direct
Dialing Inward) Service on the trunk(s).
The TEI Mode manipulation radio buttons are only available
when the DDI Service is disabled and they are used to select
the TEI selection mode:
• The Automat mode requires ISDN connection to be
established on the first available channel. If TEI
Assignment on Power up checkbox is selected Quadro
tries to get TEI value after Power UP, otherwise Quadro
tries to get TEI value on incoming or outgoing calls.
• The Non Automat mode enables the TEI Address text field
that requires the channel number (digit values from 0 to 63)
for connection establishment between the CO and the
ISDN client. In this mode, a private channel may be
reserved for the connection. Both call partners need to
specify the same channel in their settings.

The ISDN Wizard – MSN Settings page offers the following
components:
The manipulation radio buttons are present only for ISDN trunk
acting in the user mode and when DDI Service is disabled from
the previous page. This selection is used to choose whether or
not other devices are connected to the ISDN bus. It also allows
you to switch the MSN (Multiple Subscriber Number) service.
This service offers the option of having multiple ISDN numbers
provided by the CO (Central Office). It is used to route incoming
calls to the Quadro extensions, to the Auto Attendant or routing
agent (depending on the subscribed number the call was
received on).
Selecting No other devices are connected to ISDN bus
disables the MSN service on the Quadro and all incoming calls
will be routed to the selected destination.
The Route Incoming call to drop down list is present only
when the ISDN trunk is in the user mode and contains the
Attendant, a routing agent with two types of call routing
possibilities. It contains all the extensions of Quadro. It allows
you to select the destination where the incoming calls should to
be routed to. Choosing the Routing selection will request the
caller to pass the authentication (if enabled) and will invite them
to dial the number that will be parsed through the Call Routing
Table. Choosing the Routing with inbound destination
number selection will automatically use the initially dialed
number to connect the destination without additional dialing.

The Other devices are connected to ISDN bus selection enables the MSN service on the Quadro. It allows you to configure the incoming MSN
table. The MSN Service link leads to the MSN Service pages where MSN numbers can be created and modified.
Please Note: It is recommended that you choose Other devices are connected to ISDN bus if there are several subscribed numbers and multiple
ISDN devices within the network.
The MSN Service page lists all existing MSN numbers on the
Quadro. It allows you to assign MSNs to the Quadro extensions,
to the Auto Attendant, or to the routing client with two kinds of
call routing possibilities, where incoming calls will be routed.
The Add functional button opens an Add Entry page where a
new MSN number can be created. The field contains the
following components:
The MSN Number text field requires the MSN number.
The Route Incoming Call to drop down list allows you to select
the destination where the incoming call to the certain MSN
number will be routed. Choosing the Routing selection will
request the caller to pass the authentication (if enabled) and will
invite them to dial the destination number to connect the user
within the Quadro Network. Choosing the Routing with
inbound destination number selection will automatically use
the initially dialed number to connect the destination without any
additional dialing.
